The Difference Between China and The US.
A Chinese Kidnapper & Negotiators Story
'I have 3 demands or I'll kill the boy!'
Negotiators assess the situation from next door.
The Head Negotiator is dispatched.
The negotiations begin.
The negotiations are concluded.
The Chinese Police Dept probably spent $0.35 cents
on the entire hostage event,
roughly the cost of the bullet.
In our country:
the streets would be cordoned off for 48 hours;
negotiators would take 12-hours to talk him out of it;
the legal system would spend $5 million giving him a fair trial;
and, once convicted anyhow,
we'd pay his food, lodging and medical care for his lifetime.
Ever wonder why their products are cheaper than ours?

WekiLeaks founder arrested in London
'i'll bet he gets extradited to Australia, his 'home' country and he gets forgotten about. why?
Because all he did was make things public that were classified secret that shouldn't have been said to begin with.
No Doubt, the US Gov't. will create laws to meet their desired criteria to attempt to mitigate the flow of information. Why so much effort to conceal the truth? Americans are not being harmed by Assange - he simply sheds light on the Gov's activities that are actually doing Americans the most harm. The dubious actions of the self-serving leadership of our world's nations needs exposure. Accountability is what the Gov't actually fears, not harm to the citizens.
He didn't leak any info that the people that wanted to know it didn't already know. It's just seing it in public that's embarassed some - rightly so!

Airstrikes have begin in Libya. . . I guess you are happy now eh?
Violence of any kind could & should be avoided, if everyone just agreed with me there would be none.
There are so many things that conflict with common sense and reason it's a wonder any of "US" are still here! Of this I have no fear, where there are people, there are differences, and it's for sure this will never stop no matter what year, so all "WE" can do is try to persevere!
