I kinda have mixed emotions on this.  While I do believe it is abhorrent Phelps and crew are allowed to protest funerals with their hate signs in tow, NO ONE GAVE A DAMN WHEN IT WAS GAY/LESBIAN FUNERALS.  The "outrage" didn't come until they started showing up at soldier's funerals.  Last night this was a topic for discussion on Channel 4's "The Rant".  All kinds of people were against Phelps, BUT overwhelmingly, it was because of the soldier element.  In other words, if that element were taken out of the equation, I guarantee you the outcry would be nothing more than a slight whimper.  :mad: ::)
