Compliment or Insult? You Decide....

Someone told me today, "You're funny as shit!"  Now at first I thought it was a compliment, but after further review, I realized that there aren't many times in my life that I've thought shit was funny.  In fact, there's really nothing funny, much less pleasant, about shit. 

So I ask you.....Compliment or Insult???

Well, I'm sure it was meant as a compliment, but it's one of those cliches that people toss around without thinking about it. Another one is "cold as hell".
