Anderson Public Library will hold a two part Organic Gardening program



Organic Gardening Basics, Part I
How is organic gardening different from traditional gardening?
Feeding the soil, not the plants.  Soil ecology.

Macro-nutrients vs. micro-nutrients.

NPK is not the whole story.

Fertilizers – compost and organic alternatives.

Raised beds as a planting option.
