Florida was the last remaining state to prohibit gay adoption and lost their case in court.

They state they will not appeal the verdict.

Baby steps but a step in the right direction!!!

And, a federal judge on Tuesday ordered the U.S. military to stop enforcing the "don't ask, don't tell" policy, putting an end to the ban on openly gay troops.

Baby steps!!!

Whoo

Thanks for posting this stuff, Jeffrey. 8)

I've always thought the adoption thing was stupid.  An ex of mine and her partner have adopted at least 6 kids that I know of, and they are happy, well-adjusted kids earning scores at the top of their grades.  Oh, and the last time I talked to her, all of them are interested in members of the opposite sex. ::) ;D

As to DADT, I read a similar article's comments section and once again am horrified at the propensity for violence by so many.  Is it just coincidental that following violent remarks, it is often followed by a quote from the bible?  Yeah, how Christian.... >:(
Don't ask me anything you don't want to know!
